Elmer's Island
I took my kid to Elmer's Island on Tuesday. We were on the beach for around 7:00am. Crabbing was really slow, caught 4 dozen of female crabs in 7 hours. Not much going on with fishing either. I saw people on each side of me fishing and they hauled in around 10 trout all day.

too late
you were there too late

you need to be fishing at 5am or sooner if there is enough light to see.

by 7-8am the fish are gone or at least stop biting

next time be fishing for 5am then around 7 when the fish stop biting you can catch your crabs
