Safe Daylight - 3pm
$100 per boat, optional $10 big bass pot
5 fish limit, 12' minimum

All proceeeds will benefit Damani's family to help with medical expenses

The following was written by his mother:

I was born at 27 weeks weighting 1 pound and 11 ounces. I have faced many complications due to my prematurity. At birth, I was diagnosed with a grade 3 intra-ventricular hemorrhage which caused swelling in my brain. At a month old, I developed necrotizing enter colitis, which is a medical condition where a portion of the bowel undergoes tissue death. After multiple IV antibiotics and blood transfusions, my intestines were narrowed to block the blood flow. I had bowel surgery and had to have an ostomy placed to allow my bowels to heal. I now weigh 4 pounds and I'm steadily growing.

50% PAYOUT, 1ST - 5TH PAID

There will also be items up for auction including sports memorabilia, charter fishing trips, custom fishing rods, etc.

Getting close
We're less than two weeks away guys. Anybody interested in fishing this tournament and supporting this brave young man, let me know.

Update on his status, he's at 7.5 lbs. now, taking 4 bottles a day, had his colostomy bag removed, and hoping to get him home soon!

Raffle
Guys we've gotten our list of items to be raffled off and it is rather impressive. Guys I'm still signing people up for this worthwhile event. There will also be a raffle and auction at the landing, along with a benefit jambalaya lunch at noon. Sign up now, take off is in the order of sign up.

Truly a great thing you are doing for this child and his family. I won't be able to attend, unfortunately. But I'd be more than happy to pay for a guided fishing trip, with the proceeds going to the family. Just let me know if I can help in any way.
